A Los Angeles native of Nicaraguan decent, Robert Bolanos earned his California State Esthetician License and has worked with cosmetic lines including MAC, Make-up Forever, Lola Cosmetics, Chanel and Yves St. Laurent, worked years under Beverly Hills eyebrow expert Anastasia-and then spearheaded the launch of her makeup line. Bolanos’ work reflects a European edge and is vastly inspired by French makeup artists, such as Francois Nars and Laura Mercier.
